This tour has the first stop at the Ermida da Senhora da Paz, located at the top of an elevation that provides a unique view of the Vila Franca do Campo and the island. It makes a mandatory stop on the banks of the Furnas Lagoon, which looks like a garden, where the famous stew of Furnas is made.
The fumarolas of Furnas are the most well-known places in the Azores where you can observe volcanic manifestations, with water reaching high temperatures with a great diversity of thermal waters. In this tour you have the opportunity to visit the unique Gorreana Tea plantation unique in Europe started in 1883 where tea is still produced in an artisan manner.
